resulted in the following current vacancies:
- Apprenticeships
We are seeking a further three enthusiastic people, with
a genuine interest in engineering to join existing apprentices for
our 2011 fully-funded Engineering Apprenticeship scheme. This is a
tremendous opportunity to receive formal training resulting in a
Nationally-recognised qualification and leading to higher education
if desired.

Opportunities
To provide the high level of service expected by our customers,
Brighton Sheet Metal is dependent upon recruiting staff of the
highest calibre particularly in the areas of:
- TiG Welder/Fabricators
- Metal finishing to fine limits
- CNC cutting, punching and bending
- Paint spraying
- Electromechanical assembly
Finding appropriate skills locally has not always been easy, and
In 2010 BSM recruited its first fully funded Engineering
Apprentices for 30 years. This is intended to be an ongoing
program and we are currently recruiting for 2011. Supported
by SIGTA and the Central Sussex College, Crawley the Apprentices'
formal training is reinforced with an extensive in house training
plan. This rolling program will enhance our multi-skilled
team and ensure a pool of skills to provide continuity for the
future in all aspects of the business.
